Greater facilitation
When textiles notifications are sent electronically through
the system, omissions and inconsistency of information in
the notifications will be easily detected. An electronic message
will be sent to traders to facilitate their rectification.
This will be a great facilitation to traders in completing
their textiles notifications, and to carriers in checking
that the notifications are duly completed.
Integration with Trade
Declaration Services
With the data inheritance feature of the ValuNet Deluxe software,
all relevant information in the electronic notification can
automatically be transferred to create a new import or export
declaration. This can save your time and effort retyping the
trade declaration forms.
Paperless submission
It will no longer be necessary for traders to deliver hard
copies of textiles notifications to carriers. At the same
time, it is not necessary for carriers to deliver the paper
notifications to the Trade and Industry Department ("TID").
Carriers will receive the notifications electronically from
traders. It is only necessary for carriers to quote the reference
number of the notifications in their electronic cargo manifests
to submit to TID.
Longer service hours
By using electronic TTRS service, communications between traders
and the government are not limited to the normal office hours.
Tradelink operates 7 days a week round-the-clock.
Easy to track your
past submissions
By using the electronic TTRS service, all the TTRS notifications
are stored and archived in electronic format. This can save
you valuable storage space and resources. Electronically-stored
notifications allow simple and handy retrieval of historical
records.
