CrimsonLogic (North America) is right on track in bringing
about a top-notch paperless air cargo system in partnership
with the International Air Transport Association (IATA)
and Dutch international air carrier, KLM Cargo.
When implemented in early 2003, filing and processing
time will be reduced to seconds, down from the current
days. Plus, Customs agencies can bank on a reliable
source of information to plan manpower resources.
In Singapore, the solution has eradicated a time lag
of up to 10 days typical of paper-based approvals systems.
"We are eager to create a pilot site for the paperless
air cargo system," said Sam Okpro, Assistant Director,
Cargo Procedures & Automation at IATA. "By
streamlining the movement of documents related to air
cargo, we are helping to create a much more efficient
network for international trade."
A week after its official launch on September 10, CrimsonLogic
announced it's partnership with Acrodex, to jointly
market, deploy, implement and support Electronic Litigation
Systems. The legal sector can thus look towards a highly
secure electronic document filing and management environment
with essential services such as document management,
case file management and electronic scheduling.
"Joining forces with CrimsonLogic creates a tremendous
opportunity to provide a proven, sophisticated electronic
document management system to the North American legal
sector," said Nadir Jivraj, Vice-President, Business
Innovation Services at Acrodex, a leading enterprise-wide
IT solutions provider in Canada.
To date, CrimsonLogic has over 500 staff worldwide
in Australia, Canada, China, India, Malaysia, the Middle
East and Singapore.
