A series of Trade Declaration software operation demonstration video is now available at Tradelink-eBiz web site. The video contains demonstration of the preparation and submission of electronic trade declarations with highlights of related software features and functions.
 

How to Amend Trade Declarations that Have Been Lodged Using Incorrect Form Type?
There are total 6 types of trade declaration form classified by import or export of goods and also by the nature or the origin of the goods. If you have lodged a declaration using an incorrect form type, you will need to amend the declaration with reasons for changing the form type and then re-submit the declaration without any delay. Please also be reminded that you need to submit all necessary supporting documents directly to the appropriate Government departments. For any overpaid or underpaid declaration charges, please contact the Government departments directly for the arrangement.

 

Check your Mailbox Regularly for Any Declaration Notice from the Hong Kong SAR Government

You are advised to check your Tradelink mailbox regularly even if you do not have any declaration submission. This is because the Hong Kong SAR Government may send declaration notice to you to follow up any trade declarations which you need to submit but fail to do so. To comply with the legal obligations, you should always login to the Tradelink software to check and respond to these notices.
