In compliance with the Government’s plan to migrate the electronic services of Certificate of Origin (CO) and Production Notification (PN) to the Government Electronic Trading Services (GETS) platform in late June / early July 2006, customers using the “ValuNet Standard on Internet” and “SilkNet Standard on Internet” are required to upgrade to “ValuNet Deluxe 5.3” which supports the GETS requirements as soon as possible. To prepare for the full migration to electronic submission of Cargo Manifest (EMAN) on 16 June 2006 and to ensure the data quality of EMAN, the Government has just released the latest version of EMAN Guidebook for all carriers in Hong Kong. This guidebook serves as a general reference for cargo manifest submission and related documents transaction using electronic service for cargo manifests. Get the Guidebook.
