CUHK consortium launched the business integration study to reach a comprehensive understanding of the emerging trend of the RFID technology, and its implications on business strategy. At the launch press conference, Ms Emily Chung, DCEO Tradelink, said, "As a key sponsor, we are supporting the project through our active participation with commitment of funds and manpower. We genuinely believe, in order for RFID to succeed, the joint efforts of the institutions, government, and the industries are crucial." Read the press release in full.
 

The Shipping Gazette has added the trade declaration function to its shipping documentation software - SOEz, whose users can now export shipment data to ValuNet Deluxe without having to re-key in data. Tradelink and Shipping Gazette will jointly organise a seminar for the local carriers and freight forwarders on 12 November to introduce the new feature to the users. please click.
